Catherine Eisenhauer has been creating artwork for 20
years. First inspired by the work of Van Gogh, who
shares her birthday, she began exibiting in 1988.
Growing up in Florida, her father worked for the
airlines and they traveled throught Eastern and
Western Europe. Her parents ran her through the best
museums in the world--- where the textures, color, and
presence of the great masters transformed her. What
followed was a body of work where she created diverse
surroundings for her friends. Her emerging portfolio
drove her to become a professional.
Her formal training was with Aqua Finishing in Florida
and The School of Italian Plasters in Atlanta. She
learned techniques dating back to the 1300s and
practiced by the old world masters.
She had original artwork displayed in The House of
Representatives. Her work is for commercial and
residential purposes. Her passion for color and
creating beautiful spaces drives her in her work.
She presently works in her studio near Cleveland. She
lives with her beautiful son Connor with their tropical
fish.
